INVITATION TO BID FOR
WATER TANK REHABILITATION
RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS

Sealed proposals for the Water Tank Rehabilitation project are invited and will be received at the office of the City of Watertown, Tennessee, 8630 Sparta Pike, Watertown, Tennessee 37184 Attention: Mayor Michael R. Jennings, on or before 10:00 A.M., local time, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 and all bids will be publicly opened and the bids read aloud.
The above designated work shall include the following described construction:

Rehabilitation of the 400,000 gallon water storage shall include blasting and painting of the interior and exterior of the tank, and miscellaneous repairs and modifications. The contractor shall provide temporary water storage at the tank site along with pressure relief valves for the distribution system. The contractors bid shall include the work required for removal, containment, and disposal of all paint and debris associated with this project according to governing regulations.

Official (numbered) Bid Documents shall be obtained at the office of Water Management Services, LLC, 2 International Plaza, Suite 401, Nashville, Tennessee 37217 (Telephone: 615- 366-6088; Fax: 615-366-6203). A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 must be made for each set obtained.
This project is being funded by Local Fiscal Recovery Funds and all bidders shall review and comply within the program requirements including equal opportunity employment and the Davis Bacon Act.
The successful bidder shall be required to fully complete all work within 90 consecutive calendar days from and including the date to start work established in a written order from the City of Watertown. The time for completion shall be divided into 45 days for submittal approvals and mobilization, and 45 days for sand blasting and painting of the tank.
The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any proposal or waive any informality at its discretion. The City of Watertown further reserves the right to reject all proposals.
Plans and specifications for this project were prepared by Water Management Services, LLC.
