We can open the church ( Watertown Church of God of Prophecy - 128 S Pearl Ave, Watertown, TN, United States, 37184<\/strong>) for you and your family, if you don\u2019t have adequate heat. We don\u2019t want anyone to be without a warm place to rest your head while these temperatures drop dangerously low!

\"\"The Wilson County Warming Center will open Friday, January 23rd at 5:00 PM at the Wilson County Fairgrounds.
At this time, we do not have a set closing date or time. Hours will depend on temperatures and snowfall totals as this winter weather system develops. (WEMA - https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WilsonTNEMA )<\/a>
\"\u26a0\ufe0f\"<\/span> Please do NOT arrive at the fairgrounds prior to 5:00 PM on Friday<\/strong>, as staff and volunteers will still be setting up and preparing the shelter.<\/p>\n

Location: Q Barn at the Fairgrounds - 914 Tennessee Blvd - there will be signs leading you to the shelter.<\/p>\n

As winter weather continues, the Emergency Warming Center will remain open through\u00a0Monday, February 2<\/b>, and additional volunteers are still needed.

Over the next few days, conditions are going to get rough. Overnight tonight, travel will become increasingly difficult and in some areas, nearly impossible.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

If you have to be on the road, please be prepared:<\/div>\n
\"\ud83e\udde3\"<\/span> Pack blankets and extra clothing<\/div>\n
\"\ud83e\udd6a\"<\/span> Bring food and water<\/div>\n
\"\ud83d\udd0b\"<\/span> Charge your phone<\/div>\n
\"\u26fd\"<\/span> Keep your gas tank full<\/div>\n

If you slide off the road or get involved in an accident, it may take first responders longer than usual to reach you due to road conditions. Please know Wilson County EMA and our partners have plans in place and will respond, but expect extended response times while crews navigate snow and ice safely.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A few more safety reminders:<\/div>\n
\"\ud83d\udd25\"<\/span> Check heaters for damage before using them<\/div>\n
\"\ud83d\udd25\"<\/span> Keep heaters on flat, stable surfaces<\/div>\n
\"\ud83d\udd25\"<\/span> Keep them at least 3 feet away from anything flammable<\/div>\n
\"\ud83d\udc3e\"<\/span> Bring your pets inside (yes, we know there are those that thrive in this but not ALL of them do.)<\/div>\n
\"\ud83e\udde5\"<\/span> Wear layers. These temps will be dangerously cold.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

If you don\u2019t need to travel, this is your official permission to stay home, drink coffee, and binge your favorite show. The grocery store will still be there tomorrow.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
