annual parade in Watertown in honor of Independence Day, the Fourth of July! We are quickly becoming known for our tradition of \u2018getting wet\u2019 and we will continue again this year! Bring your squirt guns because it\u2019s time for \"<strong>Stars, Stripes and Squirt Guns<\/strong>\"!<\/p>\n<p>Again this year there will be a NO-squirt zone. At the end of the parade we will have a section of participants who do NOT wish to get wet, and will NOT be carrying any squirt guns or water. While we all enjoy getting a little wet on a hot July afternoon, there are some who can not, however they do wish to participate and honor our Independence Day tradition. If you would like to enter the parade and NOT get wet there is a section on the entry form to indicate miles southeast of Lebanon on Highway 70 (also known as Sparta Pike).<\/p>\n<p>To get to Watertown from Interstate 40, take exit 239A and travel south\/south-east for nine miles. Watertown is on the left side of the Highway, and you will see several signs indicating the turn off of the highway. The first turn off is at the edge of town, and leads straight down scenic main street and past the Watertown schools to the town square. The next left turns will all lead you into Watertown and to Main Street.
